That's all for now...

The summer is going well. We are busy with swimming, golf lessons, baseball, bird watching (more on this later) and just hanging out playing with legos. June and July have been super busy with hosting a bridal shower, two weeks of friends and family here to visit, grad parties, and other outings. Still lots I would like to do before the summer is over...

RIP Rog

Rox and Teeball

It's baseball season. My favorite time of the year. Kyle is back playing with the Rollingstone Rox and Cam is trying out teeball.

Kyle trying to smack it.

A rare shot of the two grandpas together. It doesn't happen very often but the grandparents were together this week. Corey's dad is on the left and Gramps is on the right. They are debating the finer points of youth baseball.

Kyle being his usual goofy self.

The Rox won first place in the Rollingstone Tournament. His 8U team as of today (July 13th) is undefeated. That makes for a pretty fun season.

And then there's teeball. They should put this on video and play it in bedrooms of insomniacs. We'd all fall asleep a lot faster. Cam is learning a lot and trying hard even though it's not really his favorite thing to do.

Last Day of School

The last day of school is a time for see ya' laters and thank yous.

Thank you, Mr. Sjazner, for a great year. Cam looks very sad to leave kindergarten.

Thank you, Ms. Veenendaal, for managing to groom this young man into a 3rd grader.

Mrs. G., we love you and will miss seeing you. Thank you for looking out for the boys when I was in a jam or when they needed to get on the bus. You rock!

Two of Coop's favorite teachers. Why? Look at what they gave him! He survived his first year of middle school fantastically.

Wet Weekend

Heading off to Flandrau State Park for our annual Memorial Day Weekend camping trip.

Cam likes his buzzed hair wrapped up like Auntie Jodi does after a shower.

Making camper pies. Coop can hardly wait.

Kyle chomping his camper pie.

Cam likes to give cousin Brydon rides in his stroller. Brydon is being silly.

The weather was terrible but the company was really great.

Walk to School Day

At the end of May, it was Walk to School Day. We joined with other students at a meeting point a few blocks from school and then walked together. There were about 30 kids in our group. Very cool.

Kyle was waaaay to cool to stand with us in line. He hung out with his peeps.

Coop was a really good sport and got up earlier than usual to go with us. You can see he is still not quite awake yet. Cam, however, is fired up and ready to go.

I rewarded him in the usual unhealthy way. This particular sweet treat is Bloedow's bacon topped long john. Good thing we walked to school.

Twins Game

At the end of April, we took a trip to Target Filed to watch the Twins win. Olivia and Connor joined us on our baseball adventure.

Cam had the most fun listening to the game with the huge headphones.

After the game, the kids ran the bases. I, however, jumped the wall to pretend to grab a ball.
